The third major revision of the Lamborghini Countach model competed directly with Ferrari’s Testarossa, with its 455 hp. LP stands for Longitudinale Posteriore in reference to the position of the engine and QV stands for Quattrovalvole for the new cylinder head featuring four valves per cylinder. Originally equipped with a standard Weber setup, the engine of the Lamborghini Countach LP 5000QV was fitted with a Bosch fuel injection system, which took off 35 hp. However, the Lamborghini Countach LP 5000QV was a great performance vehicle, combining wonderful aerodynamics, efficient handling, and powerful engine. Designed by Bertone, the Countach featured angular lines and an overall striking body with captivating scissor doors.
