500 TR MONDIAL 1954

The 500 TR featured an inline 4 cyl of just under 2.0L of displacement inherited by the 500F2 and the name Mondial was a tribute to world championship win under the F2 rules in 1952 and 1953 in the hands of Alberto Ascari. The model reproduces the 0486MD chassis which is one of the only 5 Scaglietti bodied series 1 cars ever produced and that won the Ethiopian GP in 1955.
