The cars racing today are different objects from everything that preceded them — including in their forms, which demand a production approach that traditional moulding cannot guarantee. Double-curvature surfaces, internal channels, geometries that exist only because CFD optimisation produced them: precisely the category of output for which additive manufacturing was developed.
